§ 01
What these pages dobearomark.io/sign and /verify run cryptographic signing and verification of envelope files in your browser. A signing link opens at bearomark.io/s: the envelope arrives there through our relay, which stores and carries it only as ciphertext, and returns the signed copy to the sender the same way. All of this is provided by Bearocratic OÜ free of charge for counterparties and anyone checking a document.SendingSending an envelope through the relay is metered per delivery: one delivery to one signer is one stamp. During the beta, stamps are free. If pricing begins it applies to senders only — signing, verifying, and receiving stay free, without accounts, permanently. A delivery cancelled before the recipient first fetched it is credited back; once fetched, the errand ran.Betabearomark is in beta. The pages and the relay are provided as-is, and we may change or improve them at any time.Envelopes outlive usThe envelope format is openly documented and verifies without any Bearocratic service. Your signed envelopes remain checkable even if these pages change or disappear.§ 02
Read before you signThe page shows you the exact document and whether the sender's seal holds — judging its content, and whether to sign it, is yours alone. A signature you make is your act.Keep your copyAfter signing through a link, the signed envelope returns to the sender automatically — and you can download your own copy on the same page. It is your evidence; the relay deletes its ciphertext when a delivery closes, so we cannot replace a lost envelope.Lawful useUse the service only for lawful purposes and documents you are entitled to sign or share.§ 03
Legal effectbearomark produces simple electronic signatures: cryptographic evidence of what was signed and by which keys — control of a credential plus stated intent. Signing times entered by signers are their claims; where an RFC 3161 timestamp token is attached, it independently proves the signature existed by that moment. It does not verify government identity. Whether an electronic signature satisfies a particular legal requirement varies by jurisdiction and document type — determining that is your responsibility.LiabilityTo the extent permitted by law, Bearocratic OÜ is not liable for damages arising from use of these free pages. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.§ 04
